A woody herb, rosemary or "Salvia rosmarinus" is typically grown in the Mediterranean. The usages of Rosemary have been dated all the way back to 5000 BC according to cuneiform tablets. It was commonly used in ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultures. Rosemary was sacred to many of these cultures. It's even mentioned in Shakespeare's Hamlet! Rosemary can be used for improving memory, indigestion, joint pain related to arthritis, and prevent hair loss as well as other conditions. As a spice Rosemary is often used in foods and beverages. It's traditional in Mediterranean cooking. Rosemary Aromatherapy seems to increase alertness. Rosemary placed on the skin is said to increase circulation and promote hair growth. Rosemary can be used for bride's crowns in weddings for luck and protection. Magically Rosemary is said to attract the fae folk and positive energies. It's used to dispel jealousies and even offer protections to people. It is sacred to Aphrodite and several other deities.

Herbalism is the ancient art of using the energies and medicines locked away in plants to help relieve discomfort from, or even cure, millions of conditions. Every part of plants can come in handy, ranging from mandrake root to rose petals and wild lettuce, and each provide their own advantages depending on botanical nature of the plant.

Many thousands of years after mankind uncovered the medicinal and spiritual use of these plants, scientists have acquired the tools that were needed to figure out how they worked and confirm their effectiveness. You can see an example of this in scientific articles confirming the effectiveness of elderberry improving your immune system with thousands of antioxidants and even anticarcinogenic effects!

We encourage you to do your research before ingesting any herb. This is especially true if you are taking any medications, as many herbs interact with specific types of medications (St. Johns Wort and Antidepressants for example, causes serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal). Always consult your doctor before trying to treat, diagnose, or cure any medical condition, as they know what is best specifically for you.
